In 2018, the Privacy Protection Authority published a series of new regulations in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law. \u00a0These new regulations impose greater obligations and requirements on database holders.<\/p><p>In addition, the Privacy Protection Authority established a mechanism to supervise database holders in order to increase awareness, identify difficulties, and ensure compliance with the new regulations.
